Safe Water and Sanitation For All
Give before 26 February and your donation will be doubled by the UK government.
Donations from the public (that’s you!) will support our core hygiene, sanitation and water programme in rural Zambia and Mozambique. Matched funds from the UK government will support our new two-year project in George Compound.
One donation. Twice the impact.
All families want the same basic things.
Good health and opportunities, but they lack the resources to make lasting changes.
Diseases like diarrhoea are common and each rainy season brings the threat of cholera.
Safe water, a decent toilet and good hygiene are essential building blocks to live a healthy, independent life.
With better health people can take charge of their own futures. They start businesses, improve their homes, and invest in their children’s education.
We want to raise £250,000 to support a new two-year project in George Compound, Lusaka, Zambia. Through establishing independent enterprises that improve water quality, build toilets and safely deal with waste and providing training to improve hygiene practices we can help prevent diseases like cholera and ensure safe water and sanitation reaches 55,000 people.
Right now, you can make your donation to the Safe Water and Sanitation for All appeal go further.
Give before 26 February and your donation will be doubled by the UK government, public donations will be matched up to £2 million. That means not only will you help people in rural Zambia and Mozambique to access these life-changing facilities, you’ll also enable us to expand our work to Lusaka, Zambia.
A small hand up is all that’s needed to help families build stronger futures.
