Support Village Water by taking part in the 2.6 Challenge

Take part in the 2.6 Challenge and help us protect families who cannot protect themselves against coronavirus.

Everyone can take part in the 2.6 challenge. All you need to do is think of an activity based on the numbers 2 & 6.

See how far you can run in 26 minutes, do 26 laps of your house, write a quiz with 26 questions and invite 26 of your friends online. Learn to count to 26 in a different language, cook a tasty meal with 26 ingredients, or go big and do something every day for 26 days!

We at Village Water are all setting individual challenges. Director Clare’s son is going to train her to pump iron for pumps!

Whatever weird or wonderful challenge you set yourself, know you’ll be raising awareness and funds so we can protect the most vulnerable during this crisis.

Just set up a fundraising page or donate any amount you like to take part.

Share your plans on social media using #TwoPointSixChallenge and tag @VillageWater. Keep us updated with how you get on during and after your challenge too.

Don’t forget to nominate your friends and family to take on their own challenge.

Our teams are working against the clock to reach families with basic, life saving materials and hygiene promotion to raise awareness of coronavirus symptoms and prevention measures, including good handwashing techniques. Find out more about our emergency appeal here.

Just £26 can help us provide hand washing facilities and soap for two communities in rural Zambia, so hundreds of people can keep themselves safe today, against coronavirus and every day of their lives.
