Julie and Heather plotted their own social distance marathon route around Shrewsbury’s waterways and canals, keeping a safe 2m distance all the way and raising thousands for our safe water projects.
Neither of us has run a marathon before and it will be a real challenge!

They completed their 42.2m run in just over 5 and a half hours, raising £2666 in the process!
I felt a great sense of achievement at the end as the last hour was a killer! So pleased to have made it and raise money for Village Water.
