Stand Up for Safe Water

March 11th, 2022

In collaboration with the SUP Bristol Paddleboarding we are delighted to announce our first Water Can* Collective SUP event, taking place in London on 16th June 2022.

This is a great opportunity for businesses of all sizes to make a difference, for team building and friendly competition with a purpose.

SUP, for those that aren’t aware(!!) stands for Stand Up Paddleboarding. It suits participants of all ages and abilities and is easy to pick up. There’s no equipment or experience needed. Each team will get a free coaching session ahead of the event to get you ready to compete on the day.

Come in your best fancy dress and paddle it out against 20 teams in this knockout style race. There are prizes to be won for first, second and third-placed teams as well as best costumes – so get creative!

Event details: Thursday 16 June, The Milk Float (Moo Canoes) in Hackney Wick, E9 5EN, 15.00 – 19.30 approx. **THIS IS A NEW RESCHEDULED DATE**

It costs £200 to register (per team of four) and we’re asking every team to raise a further £250 in sponsorship. All funds raised will help fulfil our goal of providing every community with safe, clean water.

As soon as you register your team, you’ll receive details of how to book your training session, set up your fundraising page and start raising money!

* Water Can is a collective of UK based WASH organisations, working together as a learning platform, to raise awareness with the potential to influence decision makers & raise funds for our projects.
