    About Us

    This online shop is operated by Village Water, a UK-registered charity (Charity Number: 1117377), supporting access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene in rural Zambia and Mozambique. All purchases help fund our work. Our head office is located at Village Water, c/o URC Office, Coleham Head, Shrewsbury, SY3 7BJ, United Kingdom. 

    Products

    Our shop includes a mix of physical products (e.g. hand-crafted items, sustainable accessories) and virtual gifts (donations on behalf of someone else). We aim to provide accurate product descriptions and images, but slight variations may occur due to handmade nature or digital display differences. 

    Prices & Payment

    All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT. Payment is processed securely through our checkout system using credit/debit card or other accepted payment methods. Your order will only be processed once payment is received in full. 

    Delivery

    We aim to dispatch physical products within 3–5 working days. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and the item. Postage costs will be displayed at checkout. Virtual gifts (e.g. e-cards or PDFs) will be sent to the recipient’s email or made available for download after purchase. 

    Returns & Refunds

    If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of receipt at info@villagewater.org. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds on virtual gifts. 

    Ethical Sourcing

    We work with artisan partners and ethical suppliers to ensure our products are responsibly made. Some of our items are hand-crafted and provide income for local producers. 

    Donation acknowledgment

    For virtual gifts, the full amount of your purchase is treated as a donation towards our charitable work. These are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

    We only collect and store information necessary to fulfil your order and communicate with you about your purchase. For more details, please read our Privacy Policy.
