Our safeguarding commitment means listening, learning, and acting to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all those we work alongside.
Safeguarding is a core commitment at Village Water. We believe everyone has the right to feel safe, respected, and protected. Safeguarding is central to how we work, not only within our own organisation but also in partnership with the communities we serve. We regularly review and strengthen our safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure they reflect best practice. All staff, trustees, and volunteers receive regular safeguarding training, and we support our partners in Zambia and Mozambique to develop and implement strong safeguarding measures. Together, we are committed to creating safe, inclusive environments for everyone, especially vulnerable children and adults.
